Definitions
Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or engaging with any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
Use of this website or engagement with our services is intended for organisations and individuals aged 18 or over with full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please do not use this website or engage our services.
Service Description
Pelangi Synapse provides AI advisory and integration services to organisations in Malaysia and the surrounding region. Our current service offerings include:
AI Possibility Mapping
A structured three-week engagement mapping AI opportunities within your organisation, ranked by feasibility and value.
Integration Delivery Engagement
A scoped delivery engagement covering one or two focused AI integrations, with fortnightly checkpoints and handover documentation.
Continuing Stewardship
A six-month stewardship arrangement providing attentive outside perspective on existing AI operations.
All services are delivered subject to a written scope of work agreed in advance. We reserve the right to decline engagements that fall outside our areas of competency.
User Responsibilities
When using this website or engaging with our services, you agree to:

- ◆Cooperate reasonably with the engagement process by providing access to relevant staff, documents, and data flows as agreed.
- ◆Maintain the confidentiality of any working materials shared during an engagement.
- ◆Obtain any necessary consents or permissions before sharing third-party data with us.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, layout, design elements, and brand materials — is the property of Pelangi Synapse or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view this website for personal or business research purposes. This licence does not permit reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any website content without our written consent.
Deliverables produced under a service engagement — such as opportunity maps, integration documentation, and stewardship briefs — are transferred to the client upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise specified in the engagement agreement. Our methodologies and internal frameworks remain our property.
Payment Terms
Fees for our services are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are payable as follows:
AI Possibility Mapping
RM 720
50% on engagement start; balance on delivery
Integration Delivery
RM 1,460
40% on start; 60% on project completion
Continuing Stewardship
RM 1,100
Per six-month period, invoiced at start
Payment is accepted by bank transfer (preferred) or other methods confirmed in writing. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed.
Refunds: If an engagement is cancelled before commencement, any deposit paid will be refunded less a small administration fee. Once work has commenced, fees for completed milestones are non-refundable. Disputes regarding service quality should be raised in writing within 14 days of delivery.
Service-Specific Terms
AI Possibility Mapping
The mapping engagement is conducted over approximately three weeks and results in a written report. The scope is defined by mutual agreement before commencement. Changes to scope during the engagement may affect timeline and fee.
The report represents our considered assessment based on the information provided. It is advisory in nature and does not constitute a commitment to any particular outcome.
Integration Delivery Engagement
Delivery proceeds through structured fortnightly checkpoints. The client is expected to assign an internal point of contact who can attend checkpoint sessions and facilitate access to relevant systems.
The one-month follow-up review is included within the engagement fee and is scheduled within 30 days of project handover. Requests for further changes beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately.
Continuing Stewardship
The stewardship arrangement covers a six-month period. Monthly check-in meetings are held remotely or in person as agreed. The shared written log is maintained by Pelangi Synapse and shared with the client at each check-in.
The stewardship role is advisory. Decisions regarding vendor contracts, tooling changes, or staff actions remain with the client at all times. Renewal for further six-month periods is available subject to fresh agreement.

This website and all services are provided on an "as available" basis. Pelangi Synapse makes no representation that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose beyond those described in an agreed scope of work.
Our advisory and integration services are not a substitute for legal, financial, compliance, or technical specialist advice. Where our work touches on matters requiring specialist expertise, we will say so and recommend that you seek appropriate professional counsel.
We do not represent that any AI integration will generate specific financial returns or operational improvements. Outcomes depend substantially on your organisation's readiness, data quality, and execution.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Pelangi Synapse's total aggregate liability to any client arising from or related to a service engagement shall not exceed the fees paid by that client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses — including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such losses.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pelangi Synapse, its team members, and agents from any claims, losses, costs, or liabilities arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of our services, or any third-party claims arising from information or data you provided to us.
Termination
Either party may terminate a service engagement by providing 14 days written notice, unless a shorter period is agreed. In the event of material breach by either party, the non-breaching party may terminate with immediate effect after providing written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach.
On termination, fees for work completed to the date of termination remain payable. Provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, confidentiality, and liability clauses — will remain in effect.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith discussion. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation before pursuing litigation.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising from this Agreement that cannot be settled through the informal process described above.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with any written engagement letter, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties on the subject matter covered.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it on another.
Assignment
Neither party may assign rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by a revised "Last Updated" date. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
For active service engagements, material changes to these Terms will be notified directly in writing and will not take effect until acknowledged by both parties.
